So for my Artist solve Problems project the type of problem I chose to solve was physical limitation. I had to overcome the obstacle of not being able to see by blindfolding myself. I chose to draw scary, Hallo ween-ish, things like Jack-o-Lanterns, ghosts, etc. I first drew my ideas with charcoal to give it a scary effect. It turned out pretty good, well because mostly I COULD SEE. This was a test run. Then, I tried drawing the same thing (twice) only this time, I'm blindfolded. Overall, the drawings came out better than what I thought it would be. I used charcoal because 1. it gives a creepy effect and 2. Since charcoal smudges, I can feel it smudge as I draw blindfolded.
This was the test drawing
Above are the blindfold drawings, which obviously are worse than the original.
What I think: I take risks.
I chose something that I wasn't sure about here. I wasn't sure about the outcome since I had to rely on my senses (mainly touch) and to imagine using my head, which wasn't easy.
